The virtual world gives us an illusion of expanding our networks whereas the reality is very different. These can be considered to be the greatest deterrent to real time connections. We should inculcate the habit to physically meet the person who we are in virtual touch with. However these could include various sets of dangerous risks. People who we do not meet, do not share with in our everyday life; do not have the ability to affect us in the same way as the ones who we are in touch with daily. If the friends we have today are more or less the people we have know for years, if we have a large number of long distance or online friends rather than touch, feel, share ones, we are losing out on a lot of fun associated with the risk factor which means we are playing it too safe.

To make our lives more interesting teen magazine advices you to be different from others, to have an edge over others .When at a party, go up to someone u don’t know and introduce yourself, not because of networking but because you want to meet someone new so that your life becomes much more exciting. The opportunities to meet new people, form new relationships, and risk new disappointments, to make unforgettable new connections- is inherent in every encounter we have; it’s how much we are willing to put ourselves out of it that makes us different.

In schools too, teens should be willing to volunteer for projects before anyone else, stepping out of our core skill areas. Taking up something which is considered difficult, we separate ourselves from the others around us who aren’t pushing, learning and challenging themselves. We can, thus, use passion as a tool to achieve what we want.
