Camping can be great fun but it is essential to do proper planning in order to make it successful. Here are a few things which teens should remember to take with them.
The most important thing to do is check out the weather forecast in the newspaper, television, radio or call up the weather forecast officials. Weather plays a crucial role in determining the success of your camping.
You would require Tent, sleeping bags, Pillows, tarp, blankets, mats, whisk broom, hammer etc.
For starting the fire you would require firewood, matches, lighter, newspapers, etc. Sometimes candles and torches are also very helpful.
For skin protection: Bring sun screen, anti itch cream and insect/ mosquito repellent. Get umbrellas too. Carry some pain killers too.
Don’t forget a shovel to make the ground even so that your camping site looks comfortable for you to stay as uneven ground could be very discomforting.
For cooking food: Hot water bottle, pans, pots, spoons, knife, and plate, bowl, stove if you don’t want to use firewood. Carry some snacks too and sufficient quantity of pure drinking water.
Carry some fun games, books, radio, music player, batteries, etc
Don’t forget fishing rods as fishing is a great fun activity while camping; something different and enjoyable to keep you engrossed.
Also carry all the essential personal stuffs which you would need such as warm clothes, towels, tooth-brush, soap, toilet paper, etc.
If possible carry a video camera along with you so that you could capture those fun moments and cherish them for life.
