5. Listen to upbeat, lively music.

6. Take a long warm bath and then dress in something that make you feel comfortable, look good, and feel terrific.

7. Use any spiritual resources you call upon for comfort.

8. Make a list of positive things and give yourself credit for even the smallest of actions.

9. Call on an understanding friendly person you like to talk with for a while.

10. Read a funny book or watch a nice light movie or video.

11. Buy yourself something you have been really wanting and have been waiting for a very special occasion to get.

12. Take time to work on that hobby you have always wanted to start.

13. Play with a pet.
