During summers, cases of fever will be on the rise, particularly viral diseases which include typhoid, dengue, encephalitis and various other diseases.
Respiratory disorders as well as nasal infections are well enough reasons for the worry. Body ache, headache and dehydration are the common symptoms for most of the existing viral diseases.
If we are suffering from fever, we should avoid self medication and immediately consult a doctor. We should be careful about our intake of food and drinks. It is important to have a balanced diet rich in fruits and green leafy vegetables. Teen magazine advices intake of boiled water as water borne diseases are common during summers.
Heat and dust makes a very harmful combination. We tend to suffer from various allergies. Over exposure to sun causes skin rashes and burns. We should thus, make efforts to keep our surroundings clean, free from harmful pollens and prevent stagnation of water as it helps breed mosquitoes. We should take measures to protect our skin from the harmful ultra violet rays.
