Dating for teenagers could be very exciting if they are aware of few important dating rules. While on a first date it becomes mandatory for teens to be aware of those dating rules. The five most important ones are mentioned below:

A. Teens should not forget their manners as it is one of the most crucial factors which determines the success or failure of a date. It is important to be on time as it shows that you respect the other person. Learn to appreciate the good stuffs which others do for you. Saying a sweet little thank you would do no harm to you. In fact it would reflect on your politeness and thoughtfulness.

B. Show interest in your date: When your date tells you about his interests/ hobbies be attentive and listen with interest. Noticing his likes and dislikes could help you from moving from a first date to a second date.

C. Compliments are very important: Compliment your date on his/ her various achievements. You could also compliment them on the efforts they have taken to look good, so that they feel great about themselves.

D. Avoid the talk regarding your ex: remember no one wants to hear about your ex while on a first date as this would show that you are still hung up on your ex. Even if you have had a recent break-up do not give out the details as your date would be least interested in knowing them.

E. On a first date please avoid any discussion relating to family issues: Let your topic of conversation revolve around your interests, hobbies, goals in life etc; avoiding any kind of family discussions.
