A teen that would rather develop an intense connection with one special person than waste her time with one guy after another belongs to this category of being fully committed. Sometimes you fall in with the crowd, other times you go solo. When the person you are talking to just happens to be the hottest guy in the party, you do not feel anxious or intimidated because you are not trying very hard to impress him. You are just open to meeting new people. When you meet someone you like - just give it sometime and if it does turn out that you’re still really into him, that’s it, go for it! But remember every now and then to take time off to do your own thing. It’s ok to send out the occasional flirty vibe without worrying whether he is Mr. Right forever.
It is now time to assess if you really do belong to this category.
1. When you get dressed for college in the morning, you search through your wardrobe for favorites and choose something to show off your own style.
2. During break time when you walk into the cafeteria, you grab an empty seat- at a table you always sit at with your girlfriends.
3. The celebrity which you associate with most is Jennifer Aniston.
4. The number of boy friends which you have had in the past 3 years varies from about 1-3.
5. Your girlfriends invite you to catch the Friday night show of the new Simpson’s movie. You would agree and volunteer to book tickets.
6. The last time you bailed on plans with your friends was because a last minute family plan came up.
If this is the way you would react to most of the above mentioned situations then yes you do belong to this category.

1Yes, Yes, Yes, stay true to yourself first. We don’t have any time to date right now and that is a good thing. Way too much drama! Just for now. BTDTGTT.

2Don’t worry about being fully commited until your in your 20’s. Teen transition into adulthood is diffcult enough as it is. Although those who are matured as teens will probably do well.
