A guy approaches you and he seems to be quite nice but you don’t see any chemistry between the two of you. When he asks you for your number you are not in a position to say no. This must have been experienced by many teenagers. You do not wish to give out your number but since he is one of your friend’s ‘friend’ you cannot say a No directly. Some Teen girls do not want to be rude to say a straightforward no. Neither do you want to say it nor would that guy like to hear it.

When that guy calls you up later on then what should you do? If he asks you out, one good option would be to tell him that you already have a boyfriend. Another option would be to tell him that you have got loads of work to do and that you are extremely busy for the whole week and say a sorry gently. This would give him the hint.

When a guy, who is a complete stranger, asks you for your number and you are not really interested then you could politely tell him that you never give out your phone number to strangers. If he insists, then take down his number instead and you would not have to bother later on. The trick is to smile, stay calm and be nice. Do not have any kind of guilt for turning him down because it is not your fault that there is no connection between you and him. The guy would soon forget about it and move on.
