All teenagers love to be in love. As teens start growing up, the fairytale fantasy of their Prince Charming gets seriously altered. As soon as romance books enter their life, teenagers can’t help but wait for that first boy who is more than just a friend to them. That first hand you hold, the first kiss. Falling in love…., the break up!
The various stages of love is given as follows:
Phase 1 - ‘the crush’
Teens would feel that they have finally met the guy of their dreams. You have seen him, met him and you can’t stop thinking about him.
What do you do then? There are so many questions going on in your mind. How should a behave? What should i do?
Should you play it cool or show that your are interested? There are so many options. It is exciting, fun and you never know what’s going to happen next. When you do realize that he is indeed your type you move on to phase two.
Phase 2 - ‘Like’
Phone calls, messaging and emails. Basically bumping into each other.
A few dates, group plans….the beginning of a new relationship.
Phase 3 - ‘in love’
You have tested the waters and decided to take a plunge. Now it’s time to invade each others social life and play soul mates. Your inbox is full of messages of undying love and can’t wait to see you again! The world is all but interfering in what’s truly important- the two of you together!
Phase 4 - ‘is this serious?’
Here’s the tricky part. Once all the discovering and newness fades out, you come to see what you both really are. Either you continue into a real relationship or just call it a day and end it!
