Love is a wonderful feeling which makes the world go round. How would teens know whether they are in love? What is love all about? Love is a very strong affection and attraction based on desire and admiration. You can like many people but you’ll fall in love with only one. You need to like someone before falling in love with that person, which usually comes after liking someone for a long time.

Have teenagers ever wondered what the difference between liking someone and loving someone is? Surely, both include favorable feelings towards each other. When we like someone we think they are smart, intelligent and respectable; but when we love someone then we tend to overlook this requirement. When you like someone there are certain qualities which draw you closer to them, but when you are in love you are well aware of both the good and the bad qualities of that person.

When we like someone we think of them in a positive way and sometimes it leads to love. But many times it is mistaken for love; thus very frequently it leads to heart-burn and pain. Love is more complicated to explain. When you are in love with someone you would care for that person more than you care for yourself, you pray for their well-being, you are sad to be away from that person. Love follows no rules and reasons and it is unconditional.
